Pole Fitness Showcase Is Planned for Stamford

Vertical Addiction, Stamford CT’s only pole fitness studio is hosting a Pole Fitness Showcase on Friday, October 17th at the Hilton Stamford Hotel. Fairfield County’s first ever pole fitness showcase will run from 8 to 10 pm and will feature more than 20 local athletes displaying their athletic and artistic abilities.

In an effort to promote awareness of pole fitness as an art form and fitness regimen, Vertical Addiction owner Ashley Popoli, a pole fitness competition champion, has organized this exciting event. According to Popoli, “I am hosting this event to educate the community on what pole fitness is all about as well as to offer the athletes an opportunity to perform what they have learned.“

Pole fitness has been gaining popularity, even warranting discussion of it becoming an Olympic sport. It is a physically demanding total body workout that combines strength training, fat burning, dance and flexibility.
