Police Seize Over 5 Ounces of Cocaine, Arrest Stamford Man After 2-Month Drug Probe: Police
Police said they seized crack and powder cocaine, packaging materials, scales and cash.
STAMFORD, CT — Police on Tuesday announced the arrest of a Stamford man following a two-month-long drug investigation.
Charlie Jimenez, 38, was arrested on March 20 and charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell greater than 1 ounce, and operating a drug factory.
On March 20 at approximately 12:34 p.m., officers conducted a motor vehicle stop of Jimenez after he left his home, according to police.

Officers recovered 12 bags of crack cocaine from Jimenez, as well as two cellphones and $863 in cash, police said.
Police said officers later executed a search warrant at Jimenez's home and found 139.3 grams of crack cocaine, 24.9 grams of powder cocaine, packaging materials, scales, and $2,000 in cash.

Between Jimenez's vehicle and home, officers seized over 5 ounces of drugs.
Stamford Assistant Police Chief Richard Conklin noted Jimenez has a federal drug conviction out of New York, in which he was previously sentenced to 60 months in federal prison and 48 months of supervised release.
Jimenez posted a $75,000 bond last Friday evening, Conklin said. Jimenez is scheduled to appear in court on April 2.
