Popular Stamford Restaurant To Close After Over 10 Years In Business

STAMFORD, CT — Fortina Pizza, a popular Harbor Point restaurant that served up Italian classics, pizza, and rooftop views of Stamford, will soon close after more than 10 years in business.

The restaurant, which is located at 120 Washington Blvd., announced on social media Tuesday that its last day of service will be Aug. 31.

"Thank you to every customer who walked through our doors, every regular who became family, and everyone who supported us over the past decade. We're incredibly grateful to have been part of the Stamford community," the social media post said. "Thank you for making Stamford such a special part of our journey."

The other Fortina locations will remain open in Armonk and Rye Brook, N.Y. It was not immediately clear why the Stamford location was closing.

Fortina was co-founded in 2012 in Armonk, N.Y., by famed chef Christian Petroni, who left the brand in 2020.

The menu features lunch and dinner, with antipasti, pasta, sandwiches, main entrees, soups and salads, and of course, a variety of pizzas.

The impending closure marks another exit for a Harbor Point restaurant, after The Crab Shell and Mexicue closed in 2025.

KIN Social, a pop-up concept, opened inside the former Mexicue space earlier this summer.
