Lidia Conte, 90, died Aug. 2, 2026, and worked for many years as a produce clerk in Stamford after immigrating to the United States from Italy in the early 1960s.

Josephine M. Caruso, 89, of Stamford, died Aug. 1, 2026. A lifelong hairdresser, she owned La Boutique – Salon of Beauty on Shippan Avenue with her husband in the 1970s and later worked at several salons in Stamford and Darien. She was known for her love of cooking, daily walks at Cove Island, and devotion to her family.

Colleen Grace Wishall, 39, died July 27, 2026. She was a devoted wife and mother of four who was active in Holy Spirit Church in Stamford and the Regina Pacis Academy community, and was remembered for her deep faith, kindness, and dedication to her family.

Raymond Joseph Tatti, 85, died July 19, 2026, and worked as a computer programmer and later as a management consultant serving the insurance industry, and enjoyed food, travel, sports, family and friends.

Daniel Bilotti, 100, died in July 18, 2026 and was a U.S. Army World War II veteran who served in the liberation of the Philippines, the Battle of Okinawa and the postwar occupation of Korea, worked as a compositor and linotype operator for American Bank Note, volunteered with the Heritage Hills recreation committee, and enjoyed bowling, bocce, shuffleboard, board games, football and following the New York Mets.

Batiste (Bea) Claps Giuliani, 101, died July 15, 2026, and was active in her church and community, serving in leadership roles with the Rosary Society, Saint Joseph’s Medical Center Women’s Auxiliary, Sacred Heart Academy Mothers Club and St. Leo’s Seniors Travel Group, while enjoying cooking, entertaining, sewing, painting and cross-stitch.

Giulia Gencarelli, 92, died July 15, 2026, and worked at Celentano’s before spending many years as a childcare provider, while enjoying gardening, cooking, volunteering at Our Lady of Grace School, walking with her dog and sharing homegrown vegetables and homemade meals with family, friends and neighbors.
