Eva (Eve) I. Peterson, 90, died April 8, 2026; a Stamford High School graduate who worked in administrative roles at local offices including Rippowam Animal Hospital and GE, she enjoyed dancing, gardening and caring for animals.

Louisa Del Vecchio Sierpina, 98, died April 5, 2026; a Stamford High School graduate who worked at Machlett Laboratories, Grade A Market and St. John’s Pharmacy and volunteered with Parents & Friends of the Lower Fairfield Regional Center and St. Camillus, she enjoyed cooking, dancing, roller skating, baseball and following UConn women’s basketball and the New York Yankees.
Dora Tricoli, 95, died April 5, 2026; after immigrating from Italy, she worked at Alexander’s Department Store and later as a companion at Providence Rest Nursing Home and volunteered for years with Our Lady of Pity Church and San Silverio feasts.

Saverio “Sam” J. Testa, 100, died April 3, 2026; an Army World War II veteran of the 3133rd Signal Service Company, Ghost Army, who later worked as a truck driver and owned an excavating business, he enjoyed country music, dancing, splitting wood, reading the paper at the beach and playing the lottery.
Gregg Gallo, 61, died March 31, 2026; he enjoyed fishing and boating and was a fan of the Miami Dolphins and New York Yankees.
Christopher Meyrick Payne, 82, died March 25, 2026; a Tuck School of Business graduate who built a finance career before founding governance consulting firm Management Practice, he enjoyed sailing, ocean travel and opera.
