Road Closed Due To 'Unsafe' Bridge Condition: Stamford Police
The city said the closure is expected to be in place "long term." Motorists are being asked to find alternate routes.
STAMFORD, CT — Mill Road will be closed to traffic in all directions due to an unsafe roadway condition in the area of Old Long Ridge Road, according to a post from Stamford Public Safety on the social media platform X.
The Stamford Police Department said the closure will last "several months" because of an unsafe bridge condition.
Motorists are being asked to find alternate routes. Traffic can access addresses on Mill Road by entering from the Rock Rimmon Road side.
