CONNECTICUT — For the first time in 2023 the entire state of Connecticut has been issued a winter storm warning.
In southern Connecticut, 5—7 inches of snow is forecast, in Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties, 5—7 inches of snow is predicted, and in Litchfield County, 4—9 inches is the estimate, according to the latest updates from the National Weather Service. Some ice and rain may mix in at the immediate coast, the weather service said.
"By tonight, we will start to see some snow push in, as early as 7 PM from the west and by 10PM the state should be covered," according to WFSB 3 TV meteorologists. "It looks like some of those bands could come down heavy through the overnight and snow will continue through what looks like much of the day tomorrow, although it should lighten up at times and there will be some breaks. Tomorrow morning’s commute definitely looks like a messy one. Mixing is possible along the immediate shoreline later tomorrow morning and tomorrow afternoon."
