Several Road Closures Announced In Stamford For Parade Spectacular
If you are coming to watch to parade on Nov. 20 or are driving in and around downtown, please allow for extra travel time, the city said.

STAMFORD, CT — The 29th annual Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular is scheduled for Nov. 20, and there will be several downtown road closures, according to an announcement from the city.
If you are coming to watch to parade or are driving in and around downtown, please allow for extra travel time.
The following roads will be closed on Nov. 20:

- Hoyt Street (Bedford Street to Washington Boulevard) 8 a.m. to end of parade.
- Broad Street Westbound (Greyrock Place to Washington Boulevard) 9:30 a.m. Access to the Bedford Street & Landmark Square garages will be available for parking only.
- Broad Street Eastbound (Franklin Street to Greyrock Place) 9:30 a.m. to end of parade.
- Summer Street (Bridge Street to Broad Street) All lanes close at 8 a.m. to end of parade.
- Summer Street (Broad Street to Main Street) Lower Summer Street closed at Broad. Bidirectional traffic from Main Street only 9 a.m. to end of parade.
- Atlantic Street North & Southbound (Broad Street to Bell Street) 9:30 a.m. to end of parade.
- Atlantic Street Southbound (Bell Street to North State Street) 7 a.m. to end of parade.
- Atlantic Street Northbound (North State Street to Bell Street) 7 a.m. to end of parade.
- Tresser Boulevard Westbound (Greyrock Place to Washington Boulevard) 7 a.m. — except for Stamford Town Center & 300 Atlantic Street parking - westbound only.
- Tresser Boulevard, Eastbound (Washington Boulevard to Greyrock Place) 7 a.m. to end of parade.
- Federal Street closed 5 a.m. to 4 pm.
There will also be a pre-parade party the night of Nov. 19 that will require several road closures:
- Hoyt Street (Summer Street to Washington Blvd.) 12:30 pm to end of parade approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday.
- Franklin Street (North Street to Hoyt Street) Closed to thru traffic 12:30 p.m. to end of the parade. Bidirectional traffic for residents only.
- Franklin Street (Hoyt Street to Woodside Street) Closed to thru traffic 12:30 p.m. to the end of the parade. Bi-directional traffic for residents only.
