Shoe Injury Nets Six-Figure Settlement For Stamford Woman: Report
Her attorneys said the shoe malfunction led to an ankle injury.

STAMFORD, CT — Trying on a defective shoe led to a broken ankle for a 25-year-old Stamford woman, and resulted in her receiving a $120,000 settlement, writes the Connecticut Law Tribune.
Rosanna Tobin bought a pair of shoes from ShoeDazzle.com in 2013 and when she tried them on there was a problem with the heel which led to the broken ankle. The shoes were manufactured by company called East Lion Corp.
Her law firm, Jonathan Perkins Injury Lawyers of Waterbury, told the publication that the initial settlement offer in 2015 was $18,000, but Tobin accrued medical expenses in excess of $95,000 due to the injury.
