'Sopranos' And 'Goodfellas' Star Visits Stamford Grocery Store
The actor visited as part of a promotion for a small-batch beef jerky brand inspired by a new mob comedy series.
STAMFORD, CT —Actor Tony Darrow, known for his roles in "Goodfellas" and "The Sopranos," visited Cingari ShopRite on West Main Street in Stamford on Thursday as part of a promotional event for JailHouse Beef Jerky.

Fans and shoppers at the meet-and-greet had an opportunity to meet Darrow, take photos, and sample the small-batch jerky brand inspired by "The JailHouse Jerky Crew," a mob comedy series in which Darrow stars.
The show, directed by Paul Borghese, follows a group of mobsters attempting to regain their boss's favor after serving time in jail. Cast members include Paul Borghese, Louis Vanaria, Chuck Zito, Peter Gaudio, Nick Saglimbeni, William DeMeo, and Taylor Laffey.

Darrow played "Larry Boy" Barese in a recurring role on HBO's "Sopranos." In "Goodfellas" (1990), which was directed by Martin Scorsese, Darrow played Sonny Bunz.
