Stamford Announces Date For Annual Veterans Day Parade
A parade is scheduled along with a ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park.
STAMFORD, CT — The city of Stamford recently announced the the annual Veterans Day parade and ceremony will be held on Nov. 6.
The parade has traditionally started in front of the Stamford Police Department and ends at Veterans Memorial Park.
The Stamford Patriotic and Special Events Commission, in conjunction with the Stamford Veterans Council, is going to honor Stamford’s World War II veterans by designating them as the grand marshals in this year’s parade.

If anyone in Stamford is a World War II veteran or knows someone who is, they're asked to fill out this form to participate.

Organizations or groups wanting to participate in the parade can register here. All required information must be submitted by Oct. 24.
There is a Nov. 13 rain date for the parade and ceremony.
