A Stamford Church is helping students get ready for school

Back packs stuffed with school supplies donated by Stamford's Saint Andrew's Church

Just in time for school parishioners at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Stamford donate 55 backpacks stuffed with school supplies for families cared for by Inspirica and the Domestic Violence Crisis Center of Stamford.

Gloria Morrow and Arlene Benedict coordinated the community outreach project for Saint Andrew’s. Saint Andrew’s Church is a diverse and welcoming parish located in the midst of downtown Stamford at 1231 Washington Blvd.

The back packs were put together during coffee hour following the 10 o'clock mass on Sunday, August 19th.
