STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford convenience store recently sold five, $10,000 Powerball winners to residents from Stamford, New Rochelle, N.Y., Brooklyn, N.Y., Wappingers Falls, N.Y., and Stony Point N.Y.

According to the Connecticut Lottery, the tickets were purchased at For Your Convenience, located at $135 Prospect St. in Stamford.

Powerball is a multi-state game. The minimum Jackpot is $20 million, and increases based on ticket sales. The game costs $2 per wager.
