"Ofc Petrone then got into his patrol vehicle and activated his lights as they travelled South on Atlantic Street," wrote Hohn in a Facebook post. "The vehicle continued west on Tresser Blvd where Barrett got caught in traffic. The vehicle then jumped the median and continued east on Tresser with Ofc Petrone in pursuit. The vehicle entered I-95 south and again got caught in the Holiday traffic."

While trying to elude police on I-95, Barrett slammed into the rear of one of the police cruisers and jumped out of his vehicle and threw a bag containing the PCP to the ground. He was tasered after refusing to stop walking away.

  • Reckless operation

Fall was charged with Possession of a Hallucinogen. She was held in lieu of bail of $5,000.

"I would like to commend all Officers involved in this incident and in particular Ofc Petrone," wrote Hohn. "With the heavy holiday traffic Ofc Petrone used skilled judgement while pursuing Barrett and keeping the public’s safety in mind the whole time. During the incident there were no serious injuries, the vehicle damage was minor, and there was no civilian injuries or property damage. In fact, two arrests of recidivist narcotics offenders was completed and 25 bags of a powerful hallucinogen was taken off the streets of Stamford. Nice job Ofc Petrone, Estabrook and Reynolds."
