Stamford Coronavirus Updates: City Has 3,052 Confirmed Cases

City officials also noted Stamford has had "190 reported deaths attributed to COVID-19 cases" as of June 9, 2020.

STAMFORD, CT — City officials announced Tuesday evening there have been 3,073 confirmed cases and 75 probable cases of the coronavirus in Stamford as of June 9, according to state Department of Public Health.

While that number is up from the 3,069 confirmed cases and 77 probable cases of the virus, also referred to as COVID-19, reported by the state a day prior, city officials also noted the department "has been reviewing its data and removing cases identified as duplicates, which may result in a decrease of overall cases."

In the city's daily "COVID-19 situation newsletter," officials also noted the state's interactive dashboard that tracks cases and deaths across the entire state indicates Stamford has had "190 reported deaths attributed to COVID-19 cases" as of June 9.

Stamford officials also said Grace Church and Don Tonio will be sponsoring offering free tacos for "healthcare workers, front line workers and the unemployed" on June 13 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the 921 East Main Street parking lot.
