Stamford Coronavirus Updates: City Has 3,063 Confirmed Cases

STAMFORD, CT — City officials announced Wednesday evening there have been 3,063 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Stamford as of May 20, according to state Department of Public Health. That number is up from the 3,045 confirmed cases of the virus, also referred to as COVID-19, reported by the state a day prior, city officials said.

In the city's daily "COVID-19 situation newsletter," officials also noted the state's interactive dashboard that tracks cases and deaths across the entire state indicates Stamford has had "176 reported deaths attributed to COVID-19 cases" as of May 20.

The city will also host two mask distribution events Thursday, May 21, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Dolan Middle School, located on Toms Road, and at the South End Community Center, located on Woodland Avenue.

A mask distribution event is also scheduled to take place Saturday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Westhill High School, located on Roxbury Road.
