Stamford DMV, Health Clinic Closed Due To Flooding: Report
The Lathon Wider Community Center has temporarily closed, according to an announcement from the city.

STAMFORD, CT — The Department of Motor Vehicles Stamford branch and the health clinic located within the Lathon Wider Community Center at 137 Henry St. are closed due to a flooding incident, according to a report from Stamford Advocate.
The city announced earlier this week on Facebook that the building would be closed until Jan. 10. The DMV says on its website the Stamford office is "closed until further notice."
"We will not be accepting walk-ins for health services during this time. If you have a clinic appointment, we will call you to make alternate arrangements. If you need to reach us, please call 203-977-5652," the city posted.

The DMV says customers with existing appointments in Stamford may choose to have their appointments honored at the Norwalk location, 540 Main Ave., or they can reschedule for a later date.
