Stamford Doctor Fined By State For Lack Of Documentation: Report
A Stamford doctor was recently fined by the state Medical Examining Board.
STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford doctor was fined by the state Medical Examining Board this week for lacking adequate documentation while prescribing medication to three employees, according to the Connecticut Health I-Team.
Lisa Backus of the Connecticut Health I-Team reports Dr. Laurence Kirwan was fined $12,500 for prescribing the medication from 2009 to 2017. He was previously fined by the board in 2017 for not maintaining adequate treatment records and documentation for a surgical patient.
