STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford doctor recently was fined by the state Medical Examining Board for reportedly coming to work impaired by drugs or alcohol, writes the Connecticut Health I-Team.
Stamford Hospital physician Kim Zeh was fined $7,500 by the group, though she denied any wrongdoing. The incident occurred in 2017, and Zeh has since been found by the board to be safe to continue practicing medicine.
According to the publication, Zeh had shown up to work in that condition while grappling with pain following a surgery. She was sent home on the day in question and did not see any patients.
