Stamford Downtown To Host 'Touch-A -Truck' Event
The family-friendly event is designed to allow children to explore, climb and touch vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Downtown, in conjunction with various city of Stamford departments, will host a free "touch-a-truck" event during Stamford Public Schools' spring break.
The family-friendly event is designed to allow children to explore, climb and touch their favorite big trucks, heavy-duty equipment and large vehicles. The event is set for Wednesday, April 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 130 Atlantic St.
The Stamford Fire Department, Stamford Police Department, Stamford Emergency Services and city of Stamford Operations Department will bring emergency and rescue vehicles as well as other city vehicles.
