Stamford Downtown Hosts Holiday Window/Façade Decorating Contest

STAMFORD, CT — In the spirit of the holiday season, Stamford Downtown is once again hosting its 12th annual storefront facade decorating contest titled “Deck the Downtown” featuring 27 Stamford Downtown businesses ready to ensure that the downtown area looks dazzling for the 2022 holiday season.

This popular event asks the public to select the winners by casting a vote online from now until 5 p.m. on Dec. 18. Dec. 12. You can vote by going to the Stamford Downtown website.

All voters will be automatically entered to win a $100 Stamford Downtown Card (a digital gift card redeemable at 50-plus downtown businesses).

Once all votes are tabulated, winners will be announced on Dec. 21. The "Best of Show" winner will receive a grand prize of $750, and the "Honorable Mention" winner will get a second-place prize of $500.

Prize money awarded by Stamford Downtown will be dedicated to permanent spring façade improvements at the winning businesses in collaboration with Stamford Downtown.
