The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
As we all know, there are many issues that need to be addressed in our city. But if I had to pick one, I would say our city schools. Our students and faculty members deserve better buildings than what they have now. In my district I have Stark School. A school that I went to as did my children. The mold issues that was found in that school wasn't anything new. The mold has been there for years, and the city's solution has been to patch it. We don't need patches we need solutions, and we need to put those solutions into effect immediately. We as a board need to work together as ONE while working with all of the other city agencies to put together and to complete each school project in a fashion that we can be PROUD of!
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I can only talk about myself. I was born in Glenbrook. I went to school, played Little League, cub scouts, coached, umpired, went to church, and got married and raised my children all in Glenbrook. I LOVE Glenbrook. Glenbrook means the world to me and I would do whatever it takes to keep Glenbrook the great community it is and always has been! I don't know anyone that has the passion for Glenbrook like I do.
Other issues:
- I want to deal with horrible condition of our city streets.
- To deal with all of the cars that are parked on our streets due to the lack of parking at apartment and condo complexes
- Our reservoir, and if it can handle all of the apartments going up in Stamford. What is our back up plan?
What else would you like voters to know about you?
Please know that I will give my heart and soul for the people of this community. I love Glenbrook as did my family. My father was a Board of Reps. member as was my brother and my son. Know that I will always make time to sit down with you and talk. I will fight like no other for your rights and the rights of our Glenbrook community.
