Family in government: My brother Frank Fedeli works for the City of Stamford.

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

The single most pressing issue facing our city is the tremendous amount of infrastructure work our City is facing. Ours schools, streets, sidewalks, storm drains and drainage systems all need capital dollars for much needed improvements. We must use all the Federal and State dollars that are available to us in an efficient and effective timely manner.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

To some tenure is a bad thing, to me as long as the person stays relevant to the issues and is responsive to their constituents, experience in the position is a positive. I have served the residents of Springdale for over 20 years; when they come to me with ideas or concerns I am able to give them clear and direct answers based on my previous experience.

I believe it is important to have people with different views in order to have healthy discussions on topics, and being open minded and having the ability to work with people of both parties to build consensus on important ideas is something I think I bring to the board.

Accomplishments:

There are many things I can list, the widening of the intersection of Camp Ave and Hope Street. The repaving and sidewalks on Hope Street, and sponsoring the Residential Parking. These along with being responsive to constituent calls and my continued involvement in the Springdale Neighborhood Association stand out.

Other issues:

Continuing my work on the Fiscal committee to keep tax rates down and continue to work on quality of life issues that affect the residents of District 17.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I am a life long resident of Stamford. Outside of the Board of Reps, I serve on the Board of Directors on the Stamford Museum and Nature Center and am a volunteer at Stamford Health which I enjoy immensely!
