Family in government: No

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Focusing tax dollars back to our school infrastructure to combat mold. Fight against pet project funding and push to have extraneous spending focused back on our schools to make them safe. Refocusing spending so as not to exacerbate an increase in property taxes.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

Honestly, not much. Frank Cerasoli is a former District 15 Rep, and is an honorable elected official. I am thankful for his past service on the Board of Reps, Education and Finance.

Accomplishments:

I am the former president of the Stamford Police Association and have had to deal with one of the most important aspects of government, public safety. I am also a current member of the Democratic City Committee, and charged with finding suitable candidates for public office.

Other issues:

Communication to constituents in District 15 about vital issues in our neighborhood and the City via email newsletters and social media. Fighting for corporate entities to pay their fair share of taxes to alleviate property tax burdens. Preserving our historic neighborhoods and landmarks and protecting the environment. Aiding residents in navigating City services such as applying for permits and tax assessor relief. Finding suitable volunteers for the Charter Revision Committee.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I am sincerely tired of partisan politics. There are good people here in Stamford regardless of political affiliation that really want to just get down to business and get things accomplished for the people and for the better. I am willing to work with anyone that has the best interest of our community in mind. Enough with the partisan politics that plagues our nation.
