Stamford Election: Charles Florio For Board Of Representatives

STAMFORD, CT — Election Day on Nov. 2 is fast approaching, and there are a number of key races on the ballot in Stamford.

Patch reached out to candidates for local office to get more information on their campaigns and the issues that are facing the city.

Republican Charles Florio, 66, is running for Board of Representatives in Stamford.

Occupation: Financial Director

Family: Kerrie (wife); Brian, Christopher, Gregory, Kevin (sons)

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Stamford Schools - both the physical condition of the schools and the quality of the Public School Education. There is a strong need to address and resolve these issues.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

Although I am not entirely sure of my opponent's position on the issues, my experience of two years as a Board of Representative has enabled me to successfully fill the role.

Accomplishments:

Throughout my two years on the Board of Reps, I have reviewed and voted on critical issues such as the Stamford Budget.

I have been involved in passing ordinances for the betterment of my District to include taxes, environmental, traffic, growth and development.

Other issues:

I will continue to support and fight on behalf of my constituents on all matters to ensure the quality of life for my District and City residents improve.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

My experience on the Board of Reps along with my Executive background makes me an ideal Representative. I have and will continue to bring a fresh pair of eyes on all matters.
