The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Ineffective use of our City resources due to poor leadership. Funds are not being allocated to areas in desperate need of improvement, and other funds are going to projects that are poorly executed. We live in very special area with incredible water access and spectacular views; we must do better to keep our City clean and safe, and address any issues of non-compliance. We have to work together—City officials and residents. That is why I would like the opportunity to be the NEW VOICE for the people of my City. I will offer a fresh set of ideas because we need CHANGE! I am eager to help my City propel to the success it deserves. I will work hard because the issues of residents are my issues: traffic, parking, transportation, and among others.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
- I am NEW, I will bring change. I have a different perception of what needs to be done because, thus far, I have been at the receiving end of higher taxes, lower standards of services.
- I know that if I would like to see improvements, I must get involved. When we do something for a long time, we tend to lose sight of what is really going on.
- We need a fresh new approach. Let’s Lead the Change!
- This is the time when our City must capitalize in everything that has to offer. Let’s work together, and I am here to listen and activate the best ideas.
Accomplishments:
- Two decades track record of improving efficiencies and effectiveness during my professional career.
- I am an effective leader, a dedicated volunteer and a champion for animal rescues.
- I have the drive and the dedication to implement change and make hard decisions.
- I love my City. This place is my home, and so I want my home to the best the place it can be.
Other issues:
- We must improve the quality of our services all around. Improving public transportation would alleviate traffic and parking issues.
- The beautification and maintenance of our open spaces is a priority. We must protect our community’s natural green infrastructure.
- Here in Stamford, we enjoy a spectacular location with easy access to many wonderful things all across the tri-state area. We are a hub; let’s make us a destination.
- We have to work hard to keep our City clean. It is a job for everyone, and non-compliance must be addressed by City officials.
- Supporting our local business; we must take action to ensure our small business owners can thrive in this City. Create initiatives to accelerate the growth of minority-owned business.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I will be honored to count with the support of the residents of District 8. I am ready to work with the utmost dedication for you and for your families to make the City of Stamford a great place to live.
