The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
The single most pressing issue facing our town is our declining quality of life. I have heard from a broad range of residents, whom have been unhappy with our schools, burdensome taxes, congested streets, and a rising population density. I intend to support any measures that improve the quality of life and oppose any developments that lower resident's quality of life.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
Stamford is my home. Since 1984 the city of Stamford has nurtured and development my mind, body and heart. Whether directly shaping my education thru Stamford Public Schools or spending time with family and friends in our city parks, beaches, and other public spaces. I have seen, experienced, and been molded by this beautiful city. Because of this first hand experience with our community, schools, beaches and parks; I have a depth of knowledge and praxis that I believe will help Stamford reach even greater heights.
In addition my running mate, John Zelinsky, has over 40 years of experience on the Board of Representatives. In his time as Representative he has accumulated a vast knowledge of the city government and and its residents. This experience is invaluable. Together John and I believe we can move the city of Stamford into a brighter future that bridges our history and our dreams and aspirations.
Accomplishments:
When I was an Account Executive in the San Francisco Bay Area, I dealt with complicated long term business contracts both in the government and commercial sectors. Because of this experience, I am well equipped to guide the city in the procurement and retention of contracts.
Other issues:
Lower property taxes, quality education for our children, supporting our seniors residents, environmental protection, and smart urban development.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I love the city of Stamford. Stamford was the place that raised me and shaped my character into the person I am today. I believe Stamford’s brightest and most prosperous days are ahead of it.
And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success.
