The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
The single most pressing issue is the school infrasturcture. I intend to work to correct our decaying schools while remaining fiscally responsible.
Accomplishments:
I am a member Glenbrook Neighborhood Association (GNA). I attend the GNA meetings and participate in GNA activities such as neighborhood clean-up days so that I can to obtain neighborhood updates and listen to constituent concerns. As a member of the Connecticut College Board of Trustees I was involved in the oversight of the financial operations of the college.
Other issues:
- We need to strive to increase the diversity within the City of Stamford employee ranks to better reflect the diversity of Stamford's citizens.
- The City should develop a long-term plan to support Stamford's population growth. For example, we need to devise strategies to provide below market rate housing, additional parking, and high-speed internet.
- There needs to be a more balanced approach to development that addresses the infrastucture requirements of the City.
