The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Repeated flooding after rain events, damage to private property, widespread street flooding, overtopping of the sewage treatment plant and the storm water system caused by the remnants of storm IDA requires action. I have introduced a resolution requiring the Administration to develop a short, medium, and long term plan to upgrade this infrastructure to cope with the more frequent and severe storms forecast.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

Not aware of other candidates accomplishments (if any) and or positions.

Accomplishments:

For my Waterside District:
  • Secured sidewalk and crosswalks repairs and additions.
  • Major traffic improvement projects stalled for decades are now in progress.
  • Promoted a Master Plan for major improvements to Boccuzzi Park and now under construction.

Other issues:

Waterside and other sections of Stamford record elevated rates of asthma, some schools are struggling with mold infestation, and some industrial operations trigger air quality concerns. The Board of Representatives approved my Resolution directing the implementation of an Air Quality Monitoring Program. Now working with the Administration in developing such a program.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I am fiscally responsible, oppose waste of tax payer dollars, and support programs that truly are for the greater good and not for special interests.
