Stamford Extends Parking Meter Hours
Visitors will now have to pay to park until 7 p.m.
If you visit downtown Stamford, you’ll have to dig a little deeper for the parking meters.
By a vote of 29 to 6, the Board of Representatives approved the extension the paid meter hours, according to The Advocate. Visitors will have to pay to park at all spots, except for spaces at the Bedford Street lot, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., according to the final approval voted at the May 6 board meeting.
The last time meter hours were changed was in 2008.
