Stamford Family Wins 'Fresh Air Kids' Photo Contest

A Stamford family, who hosted a York City youngster this summer, is among the winners named in The Fresh Air Fund’s 2015 Photo Contest.

The Heath family’s photo was determined the winner in the “In the Pool” category, and features Fresh Air visitor, 11-year-old Quadir, enjoying time in the pool with host siblings, Charles and Sydney.

The family shared their summer experiences with The Fresh Air Fund and their photo was selected from the hundreds of pictures sent in by volunteer host families across the Northeast. The photos reflect the memorable experiences they shared with their New York City visitors in July. Categories included “Laketime Fun,” “Summer Siblings,” “By the Beach,” and “Fresh Air Foodies.
