STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Hospital said they experienced some "network connectivity issues" on Thursday night, which caused some disruption to normal operations.

Jacob Gaydos, a spokesperson for Stamford Health, said Friday afternoon the problems were not related to cyber security issues, but rather a technical issue.

"The network connectivity issues began at 8:15 p.m. last night and we immediately followed established downtime procedures which allowed us to maintain regular functions of care uninterrupted, except for a small number of elective, non-urgent procedures which were delayed or rescheduled this morning," Gaydos said Friday. "Although full restoration of normal server operations is ongoing, we do not anticipate any additional delays or cancellations to patient appointments."
