Stamford Makes Decision On Friday School Schedule
Hundreds are still without power throughout Connecticut on Thursday evening, less than a week after another nor'easter.

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Public Schools will be closed on Friday, March 9, while the city continues to dig out from Wednesday's snow storm, district officials announced. The private King School also will be closed on Friday.
More than 1,500 Eversource customers in Stamford were without power as of 11:59 p.m. on Thursday night, according to the utility company.
Due to downed power lines in the city, Stamford schools will be closed Friday, March 9.
