He was told to wait until the next morning to get the vehicle out, police said. He apparently didn't like that answer.

STAMFORD, CT—A city man got into trouble with the law after he busted his parent's car out of a locked downtown parking garage, according to police.

Bretty Ely, 21, was arrested after he used his fist to break a window in the car because he couldn't find the keys, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Ely called to have the gate of the Burlington Coat Factory parking lot opened around midnight Wednesday into Thursday, but dispatchers told him he would have to wait until morning.
