Stamford Man Drives Drunk, Almost Causes Accident, Has Infant in Car
Police said the man had four open beer bottles next to the driver's seat.

A Stamford man nearly had a head-on collision Saturday in the city, while he was allegedly driving drunk with his infant in the car.
The vehicular triple-threat occurred around 10:30 p.m. when police spotted a blue minivan being driven by Saul Gomez-Galeano, 37, according to an article in the Stamford Advocate.
Police said they pulled him over on Stillwater Avenue and saw four open beer bottles between the front seats.

The baby was in a car seat next to the mother in the back seat.
Gomez-Galeano smelled of alcohol, police said, and blew a 0.20 on a breath alcohol test.

He was charged with driving while under the influence, reckless driving, driving without a license and risk of injury to a child.
