Stamford Man Faces Charge He Swiped Shrubs from Neighbor

The suspect also is accused of assaulting the shrubs' owner.

A Stamford man reportedly is facing larceny and assault charges in connection with the theft of shrubs from a neighbor.

Alan Buzzallino, 37, of Greenleaf Drive, was arrested Sunday on sixth-degree larceny and assault on a victim over 60 charges after he allegedly swiped two bushes from a Phaiban Lane residence and then became combative with the shrubs’ owner who followed and confronted Buzzalino, according to The Advocate.

Police said the suspect lives about five blocks from where the shrubs were taken, according to The Advocate story that can be found here.
