Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons Tests Positive For COVID-19

Mayor Caroline Simmons' office announced her positive COVID-19 test on Thursday.

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Lauren Meyer, a special assistant to the mayor.

"The Mayor is experiencing mild symptoms and is working from home the rest of the week," Meyer said in an announcement. "Mayor Simmons is also vaccinated and boosted for the COVID-19 virus."

Simmons tested positive for COVID-19 in April 2022 and January 2023.
