Stamford Mayor David Martin To Resume COVID-19 Livestreams

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Mayor David Martin will resume his weekly COVID-19 livestreams, according to an update from the city. Martin last held a public briefing on June 15.

Residents can watch the livestream on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. A recording will also be made available on the city's Facebook page afterwards.

As of Thursday, there have been 93 new COVID-19 cases in Stamford since last week. This is down from the previous week's addition of 118 new cases.

According to the Stamford Advocate, Martin said he is resuming the briefings because of the delta variant and the return of school. The Advocate noted that the briefings will occur bi-weekly.
