STAMFORD, CT—A complaint has been filed with the U.S. Department of Education Office of Civil Rights after staff members were accused of racial discrimination at a city middle school.
Details about the case haven't been released and the investigation is active, according to the Stamford Advocate. The alleged discrimination happened when discipline was being handed down for fighting and other actions.
The district is working with the Department of Education to provide the student's discipline record and its official policies.
