STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Museum & Nature Center invites children and their caregivers to experience "Off the Trail for Squeak and Squawk – An Immersive Outdoor Theatre Adventure," at one of 18 sessions this September.

Produced by Stage Partners of Stamford, Off the Trail for Squeak and Squawk is a unique outdoor immersive theatre experience for children, grades K-5, to discover nature through the lens of a play.

The audience of young adventurers (and their caregivers) move through the outdoor forest trail environment to a series of locations, interacting with mythical and imaginative creatures along the way. They must quickly learn about the natural world to find clues and solve the mysterious whereabouts of Squeak and Squawk – two mice children.

Tickets can be purchased in advance here. The price is $10 for nature center members, and $15 for non-members.

  • Sept. 10 & 11 @ 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. & 2 p.m.
  • Sept. 17 & 18 @ 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. & 2 p.m.
  • Sept. 24 @ 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. & 2 p.m.
  • Sept. 27 @ 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. & 2 p.m.

Each performance runs approximately 45 minutes.

Performers, costumes, music—all theatrical elements—are creatively inspired by and rooted in the natural world to enhance each audience member’s understanding and connection.
