Stamford Nursing Home Fined: Report
The state Department of Public Health recently fined the nursing home after a resident was found lying on the floor multiple times.
STAMFORD, CT — Long Ridge Post-Acute Care in Stamford has been fined $3,270 by the state Department of Public Health after a resident was found lying on the floor multiple times, according to the Connecticut Health I-Team.
Cara Rosner of the Connecticut Health I-Team reports the resident was found on the floor six times in 2017. In one instance, the resident suffered a facial skin tear and head laceration after after falling on a bathroom floor.
