Stamford Nursing Home Fined: Report
The state Department of Public Health recently fined three nursing homes in the state for various violations.
STAMFORD, CT — St. Camillus Center in Stamford has been fined $6,420 by the state Department of Public Health after a resident at risk for skin breakdown was found to have pressure ulcers on their heels, according to the Connecticut Health I-Team.
Cara Rosner of the Connecticut Health I-Team reports an investigation found the clinical record did not indicate that treatment orders were obtained when the sores were found or that preventative measures were put in place before May 30.
