Stamford Office Manager Charged with $29k Larceny: PD

She was extradited from New York back to Connecticut.

STAMFORD, CT—A former officer manager was charged with stealing more than $29,000 from her former employer, according to police.

Christina Morano, 29, of Yonkers worked at a consumer marketing research company in the mall. She was able to withdraw money from a petty cash account to pay those who took surveys, according to the Stamford Advocate.

She wrote out 112 checks worth more than $29,000 and kept the cash, police said.
