Stamford Parade Downtown Spectacular 2019: Here's What To Expect

STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Parade Downtown Spectacular begins at noon on Sunday, Nov. 24 and will be held rain or shine. Unfortunately, rain is in the forecast for the event. The parade begins at the intersection of Summer and Hoyt streets.

"The Parade Spectacular is one of the largest helium balloon parades in the country, featuring everyone’s favorite giant balloon characters, award winning marching bands and fabulous floats. Fun for the whole family!" according to the Stamford Downtown website. "Don’t miss the giant helium balloons come to life!"

Gov. Ned Lamont will march in the 26th annual Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular. The event is one of the largest helium balloon parades in the country and attracts more than 100,000 spectators, according to the Governor's office.
