Stamford Police to Get New Headquarters
The $43 million project will replace an aging headquarters building plagued by problems.

STAMFORD, CT —The Stamford Police Department will get a new headquarters tentatively for 2019.
The $43 million will replace an aging headquarters that has been plagued by high lead levels in water and asbestos warnings around the building, according to the Stamford Advocate.
The new headquarters will be built adjacent to the current building.

A new 214-space parking garage will be built and house the maintenance garage and motorcycle unit.
