Stamford To Present Final Coastal Flood Resilience Plan Design

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford officials will host a virtual presentation on the final concept design for the city's Coastal Flood Resilience Plan on Tuesday, July 28, at 6 p.m.

The plan is intended to establish an updated understanding of current and future coastal flood risk along Stamford's waterfront and coastal neighborhoods. The plan also will develop a resilience roadmap that includes site-specific recommendations.

According to project information, the plan prioritizes nature-based and hybrid solutions, along with other strategies designed to reduce coastal flood risk while providing benefits to local ecology and quality of life.

Residents will have two opportunities to learn more about the initiative. In addition to the July 28 virtual presentation, project information is available on the Coastal Flood Resilience Plan website.
