STAMFORD, CT — The primary election for the District 2 Board of Representatives ended in a draw after a recount.
Registered Democrats in the district will be able to vote in another primary, which will likely take place Oct. 10, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Party Majority Leader Elaine Mitchell was beaten by Ines Saftic, who ran on the Reform Stamford slate by a single vote, which automatically started the recount process.
