Stamford Prostitution Ring Busted: PD

A local man is charged with operating a prostitution ring.

STAMFORD, CT — A city man was arrested after he was allegedly found to be running a prostitution ring out of a local hotel, police said.

Police investigated for five weeks at the downtown hotel after a woman reported her daughter being held against her will at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, according to the Stamford Advocate. Police couldn't determine if she was being held against her will.

The woman told police that Otis Campbell, 41, rented out rooms and advertised prostitution on backpage.com, police said.
