Stamford Public Schools Appoints New Director Of Special Education
The Stamford Board of Education made the appointment on Tuesday night.
STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Board of Education on Tuesday night named Meghan Osowiecki as the district's new director of special education and related services.
Osowiecki will be taking over for Wayne Holland, who is retiring effective Aug. 31, after 25 years with the district.
"Wayne has left an indelible mark on our school system and we believe that Meghan is the perfect choice to not only continue the great work we have been doing, but to also bring her own vision, expertise, and passion to the position in a way that builds on our current strengths," said Dr. Michael Fernandes, associate superintendent for intervention and student support, in a news release.
