UPDATED: Stamford Public Schools, Churches Cancel More Meetings, Programs

As the storm approaches, there's only one meeting still on the calendar; Ferguson Library is closing early.

The weather is causing more closings and cancellations.

Classes at St. Maurice and St. Mary churches are cancelled.

Also, The Ferguson Library announced on Twitter that it will be closing at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

As the next storm moves in Tuesday, the cancellations continue coming in from Stamford Public Schools — with one exception.

In an an email notification Tuesday afternoon, the district said:

The Board of Education Operations Committee Meeting will be held this evening March 3, 2015 at 5:30 in the Board Room

The Board of Education Family, School, and Community Engagement Special Meeting for this evening has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.

The Board of Education Teaching and Learning Committee Special Meeting for this evening has been cancelled.

Earlier in the day, the district announced that due to the weather all Stamford Public Schools’ after-school activities, including ROSCCO and Adult Education, are cancelled today.
